1932-2023

 

Cameron, Missouri- Mildred “Millie” Aileen Hendrix, 91, passed away August 15, 2023.

Millie was born in Enid, Oklahoma on May 24, 1932 to Clarence and Mayme (Greer) Wales. She graduated from High School in Perry, Kansas.

Millie married Bill Hendrix on June 6, 1951. She worked with Bill in the family business until retiring. She was a member of the Red Hatters and Cameron CERT. Millie also worked alongside Bill who served as Pastor in area churches.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bill.

Survivors: sons, Steve (Carol) Hendrix and Stan (Sandy) Hendrix, both of Cameron, Missouri; daughter, Brenda Wickham; 5 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Services: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Poland-Thompson Chapel.

Visitation one hour prior to the service, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

Burial in Cameron Memory Gardens.

Memorial Fund: Samaritan’s Purse, Salvation Army, and/or Cameron United Methodist Church.
