Neil Keith Whitehurst Jr.

Neil Keith Whitehurst Jr. – age 74 of Lathrop, MO passed away Thursday morning, January 26, 2023, at home in Lathrop. Neil was born on March 4, 1948, the son of Neil Keith, Sr. and Margaret Lou (Queen) Whitehurst in Montgomery, AL. He was a graduate of North Kansas City High School and served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a good father and husband. He was always willing to help those who needed it.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Ronald Eugene Sextro; his ex-wife and friend, Cindy Fredrich, and nephew Russell Ray Sextro. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Fredrich of Lathrop, MO; son, Logan (Leslie Robin) Fredrich of Sargent, TX; two grandchildren; sister, Kathy Sextro of Chandler, AZ; and his nephew, Gregory Michael Sextro (Amy Michelle) of Chandler, AZ; other extended family members also survive.
