Paula Bixler

Paula Bixler – age 71 of Lathrop, MO passed away Monday morning, September 20th, 2021 at her home.  Paula was born on July 25th, 1950 the daughter of Arthur and Wanda (Knox) Morris in Fort Leavenworth, KS.  She was united in marriage to Russ Bixler and after his passing she was united in marriage to Mark Hinkle.  Paula was a registered nurse and worked at Walmart in Liberty, MO.  She enjoyed collecting stamps and had quite a collection.  She was a very giving and caring person.  Even though she did not have children of her own she had several stepchildren and children that considered her a mother.  She will be dearly missed.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russ Bixler and brother, Dan Morris.  Survivors include: husband, Mark; step-children, Lindsey Bixler, Alan Bixler, Joshua Hinkle, Jesse Hinkle, Jeremiah Hinkle and Rebekah Witvoet; many step-grandchildren, friends and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home. Per Paula’s wishes no services will be held.
