Phyllis Marie Lindley, 87, King City, MO, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS.

She was born on September 9, 1934, in Gentry County, Missouri the daughter of Dale and Wanda Jones and grew up in King City with her siblings, Kenny and Carl Jones.

Phyllis married her high school sweetheart, Clayton Lindley, in 1952. Clayton and Phyllis raised their four children there in King City.

She is survived by her children, Vickie Vaughn, Lea Ann Hall (Doug), and Dayla Stoll (Tom); grandchildren, Shawna Freeman, Phallyn King, Jake Lindley, Charlotte Carr, Tyler Hall, Cortney Copp, Trevor Stoll, Tara Gillespie, and Trenton Stoll; 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Terry Lindley and a son-in-law, Gordon Vaughn.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5 at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. Burial will follow in King City Cemetery, King City, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
