Rose Mary (Goepferich) Terhune, 96, of Marshall, MO formerly of Bethany, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Golden Oaks Assisted Living in Marshall.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating. Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday with visitation following till 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Miriam Cemetery in Bethany, MO, with Fr. Bill Fox officiating. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter School in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends may sign the online register book at

Born October 12, 1926, in Deweese, NE, she was the daughter of the late Victor Goepferich and Katherine (Heil) Goepferich. On February 12, 1946, she married Roy C.
Terhune who preceded her in death on December 25, 1985. Rose Mary worked at North Missouri Lumber Company in Bethany, MO for 28 years, moving to Marshall in 1993.
She was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed quilting, painting, sewing, cooking and gardening.
Rose Mary is survived by five sons, Ronnie (Shirley) Terhune of Holt Summit, MO, Carl (April) Terhune of Ft. Meyers, FL, Albert Terhune of Marshall, MO, Alan Terhune of
Wheatland, MO and Mark (Camille) Terhune of Fairbanks, AK; three daughters, Jean (John) Goller of Leo, IN, Donna (Russ) Mitchell of Marshall Junction, MO and Roseann McGraw of Kotzebue, AK; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth (Meggie) Goepferich of Kansas City, MO; five sisters: Agnes Warren of Raytown, MO, Ardella Moody of Lee’s Summit, MO, Mary McNeal of Lee’s Summit, Betty Grogan of Sonoma, CA and Linda (Bruce) Owens of
McPherson, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rose Mary was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Terhune; one granddaughter, Tiffany Baldwin; a brother in infancy, Leo
Goepferich; four brothers: Reynold, Harold, Donnie and Bob Goepferich; and three sisters, Leona Morrow, Patty McQueery and Theresa Bradfield.
