Sandra “Sandy” Harris was born on May 18, 1951 the daughter of Doral (Witis) and Frances Wynne in Jameson, MO and departed this life to join her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the age of 69 years surrounded by her loving family.

As a young girl, Sandy attended school in Jameson and on February 14, 1971, she married Kenny Harris. They were wed for 50 years. Kenny and Sandy raised three children: Kimberly Lyn, Tara Sue, and Kenneth Jason.

Sandy was a homemaker and also spent time working as a cook at the Albany School and the Bethany Senior Center.

Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.

At a young age, Sandy gave her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and remained a devoted and faithful follower her entire life. She enjoyed listening to Christian music and reading her bible, marking special verses for her family.

She enjoyed being with her family above all else and was a loving caretaker of her mother and a treasured and loved babysitter of not only her grandchildren but nieces and nephews as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doral and Frances Wynne; mother-in-law, Mary Jennings; brother, Gary Wynne; sisters, Cathy Coleman and Jeri Olmstead; and brothers-in-law, Terry Harris, Sonny Calvin, and Doug Albert.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Kenny of the home; daughters, Kim (Aaron Wade) Slaughter, New Hampton, MO and Tara Carey, Moberly, MO; son, Jason (Char) Harris, Bethany, MO; seven grandchildren, Caleb Slaughter, Sarasota, FL, Cali (Derek) Williams, Bethany, MO, Justin (Stormy) Harris, Macon, MO, Adrianna Carey, Columbia, MO, Aliyah Carey, Moberly, MO, Shelby (Michael) Carlson, Bethany, MO and Shania (Jon) McAtee, Gilman City, MO; three step-grandchildren, Shea and Trey Lathrum, Remington (Abby) Wade; nine great grandchildren, Cyson, Dixie, Hensley, and Ryston Harris; Randi and Riley Swanigan, Kaya and Kemper Carlson, and Jentrie Williams; five step-great grandchildren, Aryana and Aiden, Deagan, Zaydee, and Scotlynn; brother, Jack (Betty) Wynne, Bethany, MO; sisters, Connie Albert, Cameron, MO, Reita (Mike) Youngs, Coffey, MO, Tammy (Tab) Siddens, Albany, MO, Joyce Matthews, Brookfield, MO; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Edith Jennings and Fred Coleman; sisters-in-law, Elata (Oram) Cummings and Linda Wynne and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Sandy has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 21 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Inurnment in Monson Cemetery, Bethany, MO will be held at a later date.
