Scott Wesley Wilkinson

Scott Wesley Wilkinson, 62, of Grant City, Missouri, passed away peacefully at the Worth County Convalescent Center on October 30, 2023.

Scott was born July 21, 1961, in Louisiana, MO to AC & Mary Wilkinson.

He graduated from Worth County High School in 1979. Scott was a star athlete in track, basketball, and football, setting county and state records throughout his career that are still in place today. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial agriculture in 1984.

He loved to hunt deer, quail, and pheasant. Scott loved the Nation where he spent most of his life and where everyone would gather for reunions and celebrations. Scott was an avid and talented carpenter and had a love for farming.

Scott is survived by his mother, Mary Wilkinson of Grant City, MO, sister Jane (Randall) Baker of Grant City, MO; brother-in-law Rick Thomas of Lawson, MO; daughter Kelsey (David) Colvin of Orlando, FL; son Drew (Kelsey) Wilkinson of Columbia, MO; grandchildren Leighton and Leo Wilkinson and Leah Colvin; longtime partner, Heather; multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, AC, and sisters Connie Sue and Mary Beth.

Mr. Wilkinson has been cremated under the care of the Andrews-Hann Funeral Home, Grant City.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
