Blue Springs, Missouri- Steven Gerald Taylor, 67, passed away June 17, 2023.
He was born February 2, 1956 in Maysville, Missouri to Gerald and Phyllis (Lebow)
Taylor. Steve graduated from Cameron High School in 1974. He was a member of Boy
Scouts of America Troop 87, Eagle Scout and Tribe of Mic-O-Say. Steve was a
paramedic, firefighter and EMT and a Fire Safety Inspector for the State of Missouri until
retiring.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Phyllis; son, Jeff; granddaughter,
Trinity and step-daughter, Jodi.
Survivors: wife, Rose Taylor; daughter, Staci (Nick) Brakhage, Merriam, Kansas; sister,
Susan (Don) Wiedmaier, Cameron, Missouri; 7 grandchildren, Deserea, Coleman and
Alexis Roberts, Caden and Cameron Taylor, and Michael and Klaus Brakhage; 1 great-
grandchild, Grace Marie; and niece, Taylor Harcourt.
