It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Terry Lee Eaton on January 5, 2022. Terry was born July 15, 1962, to Glen and Virginia (Lamar) Eaton. He graduated from Gallatin in 1981. Terry began his career as a butcher working for Gallatin Locker, then became a member of the Painter’s District Council #3 as a drywall finisher. For the last 27 years, he has worked at Ford motor company.

Terry was a great family man, loving husband, father, and great brother. In 1981, Terry married Berneice (Curtis) and they enjoyed forty plus years together. Berneice was Terry’s best friend. They spent their entire married life in Daviess county, and together, they raised five children.

Terry enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding horses. He was proud of the rodeos that Glenn, Virginia, and his five brothers often took first place. Terry had many fishing stories that he loved to share, which some were true! He was the most proud when talking about his family. Terry enjoyed coaching Small Fry and USA wrestling, he was always proud of his youth wrestlers. Terry also enjoyed boxing and racing with his brothers.

Terry is preceded in death by his father, Glen Eaton and nephew, Joshua Eaton. Terry is survived by his wife and best friend Berneice (Curtis). Crystal (Lamm), Cameron, MO, Anthony (Sheri) Eaton, Gower, MO, Zack Tustison, Cameron, MO, Tyler Tustison Eaton and Diana Lamm Eaton of the Home; granddaughter, Destini (Smith) of Cameron, MO.

He is also survived by his mother, Virginia, Kidder, MO, brothers: Rick (Kathy), Jamesport, MO, Scott (Cindy), Gallatin, MO, William (Candi) Kidder, MO, Charlie (Teresa), Gallatin, MO, Jessie (Jenni) Kidder, MO. Additional survivors include many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Gallatin Youth Wrestling in care of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, January 10th, 2022, at Lake Viking Church, Gallatin. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the church. Friends may call from 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at McCrary Cemetery south of Gallatin.
