Timothy Martin Grimm, 45, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Liberty Hospital.

Timothy was born on August 6, 1978, in Richmond, the son of Stacy Martin and Julia Fay “Julie” (Phipps) Grimm.

Survivors include: his parents, Stacy and Julie Grimm of the home; brother, Andrew J. “Joe” Grimm of the home; nephew, Bishop Grimm; an aunt, two uncles, many cousins, and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and brother, Richard Grimm in infancy.

Timothy was reared and educated in the area of his birth and graduated from Richmond High School in the class of 1997. He was active in his youth as a Boy Scout and went on to become an Eagle Scout, where he was a proud member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He worked as a lifeguard during high school. After high school, Timothy worked as a painter for Tim Abbott, Abbott Painting. He also worked in the rail yards, loading new cars on the train for transport. Timothy was under the loving care of his parents and family since suffering a tragic accident in 2001 that left him paralyzed.

Visitation with funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M., with services to follow at 2:00 P.M. There will be a Tribe of Mic-O-Say service starting at 1:45 P.M. Burial will be in Sunny Slope Cemetery, Richmond.
