Meet Baba! Our Pet of the Week!
Today’s Pet of the Week is brought to you by Green Hills Animal Shelter in Trenton and is sponsored by Princeton Physical Therapy and Tolsen Grain.
Please meet Baba! Baba is a standard poodle who, with his curly cream and black coat, is absolutely gorgeous. But, Baba’s handsomeness isn’t just skin deep; Baba’s personality is just as endearing and handsome as his trademark Poodle coat!
Baba, who is only about 3 years old, previously had a home of his own where he was very loved. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond Baba’s control, his owner needed to relinquish him to the shelter, but you can tell from Baba’s personality that he knows how it feels to be loved and that he is anxious to once again be loved and adored.
Baba is a very sweet dog who has a lot of love to give. He is friendly and affectionate, and does well with children as well as with other dogs. Baba, like most poodles, is extremely smart; he already knows basic obedience commands and he is house-trained as well! Baba was owned by a groomer in the past, so he is very accustomed to being groomed. And of course, since he is still a pretty young boy, Baba enjoys playing, and he is curious and funny.
If Baba could describe his perfect Forever Home, he would ask for a home where he could continue to be an indoor dog. He would very much enjoy an active family who would take him on long, leashed walks and allow him to spend lots of time with him. He would be happy in a home with children or in an adult-only home as well. Baba would be quite content to share his home with another canine, but he does respectfully request that his Forever Home does not have any feline residents, as cats just aren’t his thing.
Baba will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies, as well as being house trained and knowing basic commands. He is a very special boy who is filled with love to share; could he share his life with you?
