Meet Dusten! Our Pet of the Week!

Today’s Pet of the Week is brought to you by Green Hills Animal Shelter and is sponsored by Princeton Physical Therapy and Tolsen Grain.

We’d like to introduce you to Dusten! Dusten is a very handsome Lab mix who, at an estimated age of no more than one year old, is still full of puppy playfulness and love.

Dusten came to Green Hills Animal Shelter after being found wandering alone and trying to fend for himself on the streets, but it didn’t take Dusten any time at all to settle right in at the shelter and to begin stealing the hearts of everyone he meets.

Pictures do not begin to do Dusten justice, and when you meet him in person you can’t help being amazed by his gorgeous, shiny coat that is so incredibly soft and pettable! But Dusten isn’t just handsome on the outside … this pup’s personality is every bit as shiny as his coat! Dusten is a super sweet dog who is very sociable and very, very gentle. He is happy and curious, and full of love for everyone he meets. Dustin can be a little shy when he first meets other dogs, but he gets along well with them and is happy to be a follower and let the other dogs lead the way.

If Dusten could describe his perfect Forever Home he would ask to be adopted by a family who would spend lots of time with him. He would love to have a securely fenced yard where he could go out and play, and he would also enjoy getting to go on long leashed walks where he could investigate all the sounds and smells of the world with his family. Dusten’s gentle, loyal personality would make him a great dog for a family with children, and he would also be content to share his home with another dog.

Dusten will go to his Forever Home neutered, de-wormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He is a sweet boy who can’t wait to share his heart with a family of his own; could that family be yours?
