Please meet Frodo! Frodo is a handsome Husky/Lab/possibly Great Pyrenees mix who came to Green Hills Animal Shelter in September. Before coming to the shelter Frodo had a home of his very own, but sometimes life throws us curves, and when Frodo’s owner was no longer able to keep him, Frodo was surrendered to the shelter.
With his snow white fur and gorgeous ice blue eyes, Frodo is just about as handsome as a dog can get. And Frodo is every bit as sweet as he is handsome. He loves people and he is a master at the “big dog lean”, quickly stealing hearts by leaning against you to get as close as he can. At only 2 years old, Frodo also has a lot of energy and he loves to happily play and run.
If Frodo could describe his ideal home, he would ask for a home with a family who would spend time with him and with a big, fenced yard where he could go outside to run and play. He would enjoy getting to go on walks, and getting to spend quality time leaning on the people he loves. Frodo would very much enjoy a home with children, and would prefer a home where he could be the only pet.
Frodo will go to his Forever Home neutered, de-wormed, heartworm tested (negative), and up to date on all his vaccinations, including rabies. He is a special boy who can’t wait to be back in a home all his own; could that home be yours?
