Today’s Pet of the Week is brought to us by Green Hills Animal Shelter in Trenton. We are sponsored by Princeton Physical Therapy and Tolson Grain.
Please meet Grace! Grace is a beautiful black and white Lab mix who is about 4 or 5 years old. Grace came to Green Hills Animal Shelter on April 5th, along with her 8 (yes, 8!) puppies. Grace proved to be a wonderful mom, and the love and care she showed for her pups stole the hearts of everyone at the shelter. But now Grace’s pups have all been adopted, and she is ready to move on and share her heart full of love with a Forever Family of her own.
Grace is a sweet dog who loves people. She enjoys attention and is happy being with both adults and children. She is a smart girl who loves to please, and her sweet personality, medium size, kind eyes, and cute pointy ears all combine to make her quite adorable. Grace, however, does have her own opinions on some topics (don’t we all?) and, while she loved her puppies to the moon and back, she is not particularly fond of other dogs.
If Grace could describe her perfect Forever Home, she would ask for a home where she would be a treasured member of her family. She would enjoy being an inside dog so that she could spend lots of time with her family, and she would also enjoy a securely fenced yard where she could run and play. Grace would be happy being in a home with children, but she would respectfully request to be the only pet in her new home.
Grace will go to her Forever Home spayed, de-wormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies. She is full of love to share; could she share that love with you?
For more information on Grace, or any of the pets at Green Hills Animal Shelter, please phone the shelter at 660-359-2700 or stop by during open business hours. We’d be so happy to meet you and introduce you to Grace and the other pets at the shelter!
