We’d like to introduce you to Kane.  Kane is a 2 year old Cattle Dog mix who came to Green Hills Animal Shelter in mid-December.  Prior to coming to the shelter Kane had a home of his own, but when his owners were not able to care for him they allowed him to come to the shelter so that he could find a home where he would be cared for, happy and loved.

Kane is a happy boy who is full of energy and loves to play. He takes great joy in life and never fails to make everyone smile with his endearingly goofy personality. In addition to being a perpetually happy boy, Kane is also a dog who is very eager to please. He loves receiving praise and genuinely wants to make his humans happy.

If Kane could describe his perfect Forever Home he would ask for an active home where he would receive lots of attention and be a loved and adored member of his family. He would enjoy a fenced yard where he could play fetch and expend his energy before coming inside to spend time with his family. He would be quite happy in a home with children and perhaps even another dog, although he would respectfully request to meet any potential canine siblings prior to adoption.

Kane will go to his Forever Home neutered, de-wormed, heartworm tested (negative) and up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies.  He is a happy boy who is full of love to share; could he share that love with you?
