Meet Lexie! Our Pet of the Week

We’d like to introduce you to Lexie! Lexie is an adorable English Bulldog mix puppy who is almost 1 year old. Lexie was relinquished to Green Hills Animal Shelter along with her equally adorable brother and best friend, Sasha, because their happy puppy antics just didn’t mix well with the chickens who also shared their previous home.

Lexie is a friendly, affectionate pup who gets along wonderfully with everyone she meets; adults and children alike. She is curious and funny and, like most puppies, Lexie is very playful. And, as you might guess, her favorite play partner is her brother, Sasha. Lexie and Sasha are very bonded, and while adopting them together isn’t required, we believe they would thrive in a home where they could remain together.

If Lexie could describe her perfect Forever Home, she would tell us about a home with a family who would spend lots of time with her and indulge her in both lots of play time and lots of love. She would prefer to be an indoor doggy, especially with the cold winter months ahead, and she would also enjoy having a securely fenced yard where she could run and play until she was worn out and then come back inside for quality snuggle time with her people. Lexie would be happy to share her home with children or a canine sibling or two, and she would especially love if she could remain together with her brother Sasha.

Lexie will go to her Forever Home spayed, de-wormed, heartworm tested and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. She is sure to fill her Forever Home with joy and happiness; could that home be yours?
