Today’s Pet of the Week is brought to you by Green Hills Animal Shelter and is sponsored by the Lamoni Veterinary Clinic.
We’d like to introduce you to Tess! Tess is an absolutely gorgeous medium-sized Husky mix who is only about a year old.
Tess came to Green Hills Animal Shelter as a stray after being found wandering the streets of a rural community near Trenton. But, despite being on her own on the streets, Tess is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet!
Tess is a friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. She is good with both adults and children, as well as with other dogs and cats. She is very smart and, with her intelligence and her engaging personality, she would undoubtedly do well learning obedience commands and tricks in her new home.
If Tess could describe her Forever Home, she would ask for an active home where she could accompany her family on long, leashed walks and spend as much time with them as possible. She would be quite happy in a home with children, and she would also be perfectly content to share her home with other dogs, or even a cat or two. Tess would very much like to have a securely fenced yard where she could safely explore the outdoors and, after exploring and playing in her very own backyard, she would love to come inside and cuddle up with her family.
Tess will go to her Forever Home spayed, de-wormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. She has a heart full of love that she is anxious to share with a family of her own; could that family be yours?
