Pet Of The Week – Black Cat
We’d like to introduce you to a very special kitty named Black Cat. As you can probably guess from his name, Black Cat is a gorgeous house panther with sleek black fur and beautiful golden eyes. Before coming to Green Hills Animal Shelter, Black Cat had a home of his own and a human who loved him with all her heart. But sadly that all changed when Black Cat’s elderly owner had to move into a care facility that did not allow pets, and Black Cat, after years of being loved and adored, suddenly found himself at the shelter.
At 10 to 12 years old, Black Cat is a senior kitty who has been very sad since he lost his home and the person that he loved so much. However, despite his circumstances, Black Cat still shows us every day what a sweet boy he is. He is easygoing and affectionate, and he very much enjoys being with people. Black Cat gets along well with other cats and is content to share his space with them, usually choosing to let them do their thing while he watches sweetly.
If Black Cat could describe his purr-fect Forever Home, he would simply tell us that he is wishing for an indoor-only home where he could live out his remaining years being cherished and loved. He would love to be in a home where he could spend his days sleeping in sunbeams and snuggling with his human on the couch. He would be purr-fectly happy to share his home with another cat, and also would be content to be in a home with children. And because Black Cat is such a special boy, his adoption fee will be sponsored for the purr-fect, approved adopter who provides him with his happily fur-ever after.
Black Cat will go to his Forever Home neutered, de-wormed, FIV/FeLV tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He is a sweet boy who very much wants to be back in a home of his own; could that home be yours?
