We’d like to introduce you to a darling little bundle of cuteness that is only about 6 weeks old:  Please meet Bootsie!

Bootsie and her brother, Bear, were abandoned by their owners at only 10 days old. Now we all know that 10 days old is way too young for a tiny kitten to be without its mom, and it is also way too young for them to be in a shelter, so they were sent to be with a loving foster family who bottle-fed them and cared for them until they were old enough to come back to Green Hills Animal Shelter and find Forever Families of their own.

Bootsie, who is dressed in her very best tuxedo, is a friendly baby who is both affectionate and playful.  Because humans raised her she has a special connection with them, which shines through in her love of cuddling and getting pets and kisses. When Bootsie isn’t cuddling, she loves to play and wrestle with her brother and the other kittens at the shelter.

If Bootsie could describe her “purr-fect” Forever Home, she would tell us that she will need an indoor-only home (this sweet girl is way too young to be allowed outside) with a family who will indulge her love of cuddling. Bootsie gets along well with other cats as well as dogs, and would very much enjoy sharing her home with another feline or a canine companion. Her sweet personality and attachment to people would also make her a wonderful kitten to share her home with gentle children who understand that she is still just a baby.

Bootsie will go to her Forever Home spayed, de-wormed, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies. She is sure to fill her new family’s life with joy; could that family be yours?

For more information on Bootsie, or any of the pets waiting for their Forever Homes at Green Hills Animal Shelter, please phone the shelter at 660-359-2700 or stop by during open business hours.  Bootsie and her fur-friends will be so happy to meet you!
