Pet of the Week – Chrissy

Chrissy is an Irish name, which means follower.  That suits this strawberry blonde well.  Chrissy is this week’s Farm n Friend Veterinarian Pets of the Week.

Chrissy, Log #512406 is one of our more mature shelter pets. She is likely between 8-9 years old. She appears to be a shepherd/collie mix and is a complete lovebug!! She came to us with heartworm disease and we treated and placed her in the Puppies for Parole program to recover and learn a few manners while she was there. Chrissy LOVES people, but is not too enthusiastic about playing with other dogs. While she is a little older, she still has a spunky, active personality.
