Pet Of The Week – Hershey

Please meet Hershey!  Hershey is a Border Collie mix puppy who is sure to steal your heart.  This sweet boy is only about 6 months old, and just as sweet as the candy bar that we think about when we hear his name.

When Hershey was only about 8 weeks old, he and his littermates were found abandoned about 35 miles north of Trenton, MO. Thankfully, the kind person that found them knew they needed assistance and care, so they brought them to the shelter.

When you meet Hershey, you will see that he, true to his breed, is a dynamo!  This cute, medium-sized  boy is full of energy and fits the Border Collie personality trait list perfectly: alert, energetic, hard-working and extremely smart.   He is curious, learns quickly, and Hershey is always ready for a good play session!

If Hershey could describe his perfect Forever Home, he would ask for an active household where he could go on long walks and spend lots of time playing with and herding his family.  He would be very happy in a home with children, and he wouldn’t mind sharing his home with another dog, although it would be best for him to meet them first to make sure they will make good siblings. He would also prefer a home without cats.

Hershey will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested and up to date on all his vaccinations, including rabies.  He has everything he needs – except for a family and home of his own. Could you make his dreams come true?
