Pet Of The Week – Miami
If you are looking for a puppy that is full of heart, look no further than Miami, a darling Labrador Retriever mix who is only about 14 weeks old!
We don’t know much about Miami’s past; we only know that in late April she, along with her two sisters and one brother, were placed in a crate and abandoned. It must have been a frightening situation for these sweet siblings, who were emaciated and cold, but true to their Lab genetics, they immediately recognized the shelter staff and volunteers as their friends, and they quickly discovered how wonderful life can be when you have food, water and lots of love.
Miami is a super sweet girl who happily embraces all that life has to offer. She has almost doubled in weight since arriving at the shelter, and her happy personality absolutely shines. Miami, like most puppies, is very playful and is always ready for attention. She loves people and is affectionate and funny. She is also very smart and gets along well with other dogs.
If Miami could describe her perfect Forever Home she would ask for a home with a family who would shower her with attention and love. She would very much like to be an indoor dog so that she could spend lots of time with her family, and of course, she would also love a securely fenced yard to romp and play in. Miami would be happy in a home with children, and she would be a wonderful, loyal friend for a young boy or girl to grow up with. Miami would enjoy having a canine friend in her new home, but if she is the only dog that is okay too, as she would happily accept all the love and attention of her new family for herself.
Miami will go to her Forever Home spayed, dewormed, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. She had a rough start to life, but she is ready to move on to her happily forever after; could you make her dreams of a home and family of her own come true?
