Pet Of The Week – Mike

We’d like to introduce you to Mike!  Mike is a wiggly bundle of cuteness who was found wandering alone with his brother Ike and brought to the shelter by Animal Control to keep them safe and hopefully allow them to find their way home. Sadly, no one came to claim Mike and Ike, and now these two are looking for new homes and families to call their own.

Mike is a black Lab mix who is only about 6 months old. Like most labs, Mike is very friendly and, like most pups, he is very active. It’s hard to meet Mike without smiling because he is so full of happiness. He is affectionate, smart, curious, and funny. Mike has already mastered walking well on a leash and would be a great pup to teach tricks such as playing fetch or Frisbee. Mike gets along well with other dogs and would also do well in a home with children.

If Mike could describe his perfect Forever Home, he would ask to be adopted by an active family who would spend lots of time with him. He would very much enjoy being an indoor pup with access to a securely fenced yard where he could go outside and run off his puppy energy safely. Mike would love to be someone’s special buddy and would no doubt enjoy being part of a home with a child that he could grow up with.

Mike will go to his Forever Home neutered, de-wormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He is sure to fill his Forever Family’s life with joy; could that family be yours?
