It’s been over 500 years since Leonardo da Vinci said, “Even the smallest feline is a masterpiece”, but centuries later you’ll see that statement still holds true … especially when you meet Petal!

Petal, who is only about 8 weeks old, came to Green Hills Animal Shelter after being found wandering alone with his brother, Clover. Petal and Clover were only about 6 weeks old at the time, and oh so lucky to be rescued and brought to safety.

Petal is one of the most loving kittens imaginable.  As a matter of fact, if you Googled “Love Bug”, we think the top search result should be a picture of Petal! He is an outgoing boy who loves to be with people, and he also loves to be with other cats.  Petal’s friendly, affectionate nature would make him a great kitten for a family with children. In addition to being a love bug, Petal is very playful and quite funny. He is always ready for a game of chase-the-feather or a romp in the cat playroom, especially with his brother Clover.

If Petal could describe his “purr-fect” Forever Home, he would tell us that he is looking for an indoor-only home (this darling cuddle-bug is litterbox trained and way too young and small to be outside, especially with winter coming) with a family who would give him lots of love and attention. He would love to spend his days alternating between playing, cuddling with his family, and watching the birdies through the window. He would be very happy in a home with gentle children and enjoy having another kitty or two in his new home (perhaps even his brother, Clover!).  And, although Petal hasn’t had much experience with dogs, with his brave, outgoing personality he would no doubt quickly become friends with a canine companion, too.

Petal will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, and overflowing with love.  Wouldn’t you love to make him part of your family?
