Pet Of The Week – Piper

If you are looking for a small dog who loves everyone and never meets a stranger, then you need to meet Piper!

Piper is a darling little guy (we’re guessing perhaps a Terrier/Corgi mix) who only weighs about 20 pounds. He was found wandering the streets and brought to Green Hills Animal Shelter in hopes that his family would find him, but sadly no one came. When Piper arrived at the shelter he was very dirty and suffering from a skin condition that has since been treated, but he didn’t let that slow him down; this little guy’s cute, curly tail never stopped wagging and he instantly considered everyone his friend.

Piper is the epitome of the term “Happy Dog”! He is friendly, affectionate, and outgoing, and his curious and funny personality is sure to make you smile. Piper loves to be with people and absolutely savors every bit of attention he receives. He is an energetic pup who loves to go outside and play, and who no doubt would love to learn to play fetch and go on long, leashed walks with a family of his own.

If Piper could describe his perfect Forever Home, he would undoubtedly ask to be adopted by a family who would give him lots of attention and affection. He would love to be an indoor dog with a snuggly dog bed all his own, and of course, he would also love a securely fenced yard where he could go out and play. Piper would be a great family dog in a home with children, and he would also be happy to have another doggy friend in his new home.

Piper will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He is absolutely overflowing with love to share; could he share that love with you?
