Pet Of The Week – Roscoe

Please meet Rosco!  Rosco is a handsome 2-year old cattle dog mix who, despite not having a home of his own, is one lucky pup.  Why is Rosco lucky? Well you see, Rosco was found running loose in a small town and picked up by animal control. Sadly, like many small towns, this town had no facility to be able to hold animals for an indefinite time, so when Rosco’s mandatory hold-for-claim period was up, his time on earth was scheduled to be up, too.  But fortunately for Rosco, the kind people where he was picked up were completely charmed by him, and they called Green Hills Animal Shelter to see if they could bring Rosco to us.

When you meet Rosco you will understand exactly how he charmed his way into a new life.  As a matter of fact, saying that Rosco is charming is actually quite an understatement, because Rosco is just about the sweetest boy you could ever hope to meet.  He is very loving and perpetually happy, and Rosco absolutely loves attention.  His sweet, loving, happy-dog personality will not only win your heart, but it will make him a wonderful family dog.

If Rosco could describe his perfect Forever Home, he would ask for a home where he could spend lots of time with his family. He would love to have a securely fenced yard where he could play and a warm, comfy bed where he could curl up at the end of the day and dream about belly rubs and treats. We believe that Rosco would also enjoy a canine companion in his Forever Home, but he would respectfully request to meet any other dogs in the household prior to adoption to make sure they will be good buddies.

Rosco will go to his Forever Home neutered, de-wormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies.  Rosco is overflowing with love to share with a family of his own; could you be the person who makes his dream of a Forever Home come true?
