Pet Of The Week – Rusty

We’d like to introduce you to Rusty!  Rusty is a German Shepherd/Australian Kelpie mix who is only about one year old and who is looking for a Forever Family to love and share his joy for life with.

Rusty is a very handsome pup who is happy, friendly, and affectionate. He loves and gets along well with everyone he meets and simply wants to be everyone’s best friend! In addition to being oh-so-sweet, Rusty is also very active and playful. He is a high-energy pup who loves to run and play. But while Rusty enjoys being outside, he doesn’t like to be alone and whether he is inside or outside, Rusty prefers to be with his people.

If Rusty could describe his perfect Forever Home, he would ask to be adopted by an active family who will include him in all their activities. He would love to go on long leashed walks, or perhaps even be a running companion – he is quite athletic! Rusty would prefer a home where he can spend time both indoors and outdoors with his family, but he will require a securely fenced yard so that he does not give in to the temptation to go off on any grand, unsupervised adventures. Rusty would be happy in a home with children who he could play with and watch over. He also would be agreeable to having a canine companion in his Forever Home, but as with all our pets, we suggest that he get to meet any prospective canine siblings before adoption to ensure that they will be the best of friends.

Rusty will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He will be a truly loyal friend to the lucky family who adopts him; could that family be yours?
