Pet Of The Week – Shiloh

If you’re looking to add some heart-stealing puppy love to your family, you need to look no further than Shiloh! Shiloh is a beautiful white and tan hound-mix puppy who was found wandering with her brother, Trapper, and another hound pup who we’ve named Hunter. All three puppies were picked up and brought to Green Hills Animal Shelter so that they could be safe and cared for, and hopefully, be reunited with their owner, but sadly, no one came forward to claim them, so now they are looking for Forever Homes where they can share their love, and where they will be loved and cherished forever.

Shiloh, who is only about 4 months old, is a gentle pup with the sweetest personality. She gets along with everyone she meets, both humans and dogs alike. Having been on her own at such a young age, Shiloh can be shy when she first meets you, but she learns to trust quickly, and her trust and confidence are continuing to grow every single day. Shiloh loves other dogs and, like all puppies, she loves to play. She is at her happiest and most confident when she is romping in the shelter play yard with her brother Trapper and her friend Hunter, and watching her happily play and interact with them and the other dogs at the shelter will absolutely make your heart smile.

If Shiloh could describe her perfect Forever Home, she would ask for a home with a family who will spend lots of time with her and help her to feel secure and loved so that she can continue to gain confidence. She would love to have a securely fenced yard so that her hound-dog nose doesn’t carry her off on any unsupervised adventures, and of course, she would love to be able to curl up with her family after a happy day of play, confident in the knowledge that she is safe and loved. Shiloh would very much like a home with another dog to play with, and she would also be a wonderful family dog in a home with children who would enjoy having a gentle friend to grow up with.

Shiloh will go to her Forever Home spayed, dewormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.  She is an amazing girl who just wants to feel loved and secure; could you make her dream of a Forever Home come true?
