Pet Of The Week – Violet

We’d like to introduce you to Violet! At only 10-11 months old, Violet is still just a baby, and if you are looking for the world’s most affectionate kitten, Violet is definitely the girl for you!

Violet came to Green Hills Animal shelter in March, along with Roxie who was our pet of the week last week.  Before coming to the shelter, Violet and Roxie had a home of their own where they were very loved. Sadly, when their owner experienced an unexpected change in their life, they were unable to keep Violet and Roxie, and they were surrendered to the shelter.

The first thing you’ll notice about Violet is that she is an absolutely gorgeous house panther. With her shiny, jet black fur and petite features, it is impossible to look at her without smiling.  But where Violet will really win your heart is with her personality. You see, Violet  is the most loving cat we have ever seen!

Violet absolutely lives to give and receive affection. She simply cannot get enough petting, snuggling and love, and she never gets tired of giving head-bonks and kitty kisses. Violet has absolutely no concept of personal space; all she knows is that the closer she can be to you, the happier she is.

If Violet could describe her purr-fect Forever Home, she would ask for an indoor only home where she would be the center of attention. She would love a home where her days would be spent being adored and treasured, and in return she promises to give her family all the love they could ever imagine. Violet loves other cats, and is just as affectionate with them as she is with humans, so she would be very happy to also share her home with a kitty sibling or two.

Violet will go to her Forever Home spayed, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested, and up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies.  She is guaranteed to fill her Forever Human’s life with more love than you could ever imagine; wouldn’t you love to take her Home?
