Stanberry Resident Charged With Weapons, Stolen Property Charges

GENTRY COUNTY, MO – Charges have been filed against a Stanberry man following the execution of a search warrant on January 15th.

A probable cause statement issued by the Gentry County Sheriff’s Office reports officers searched a home in Gentry County during which time contact was made with Erin Graves, who reportedly had several active warrants for his arrest. The investigating officer says Graves was located near a sawed-off shotgun and brass knuckles.

Graves is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property as a persistent offender.  He is currently incarcerated in the Missouri Department of Corrections on a 10-year sentence for multiple property crimes and a drug conviction. A warrant has been issued by the Gentry County court, bond has been denied.
