Motor Grader And Pickup Accident Injures Two Children In Fairfax

A 7-year old girl and an 8-year old boy were taken to the hospital following an accident involving a pickup and a motor grader Wednesday morning in Fairfax.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a pickup, driven by 34 year old Cody Stoner of Fairfax, was driving westbound on Highway 46 and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 46 and U.S. 59 in Fairfax. His pickup hit front of a motor grader that was heading southbound on Highway 59. The 7-year old girl and the 8-year old boy were both from Fairfax and taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The accident took place at 7:30am Wednesday morning. The Atchison County Sheriff’s Department and the Fairfax Fire and Fire Responders assisted the Highway Patrol.
