Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department August 2023 Activity Report

On 8/01/2023, at approximately 1518 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 400 block of Main Street in Polo, Mo to a reported burglary. Investigation is ongoing.

On 08/01/2023, at approximately 2122 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 700 Block of Wisconsin St. Breckenridge, MO for a runaway juvenile. The Juvenile was located and returned to his home by deputies. This incident was referred to the Juvenile office for further actions.

On 08/02/2023, at approximately 1053 hours, Caldwell County Deputies arrested a person for a mental evaluation .The subject was transported to CCDC, and then to a hospital for further treatment.

On 08/03/2023, at approximately 0910 hours, Deputies arrested a female at Caldwell County Courthouse for an outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody without incident, and taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center where she was held in lieu of bond.

On 8/05/2023, at approximately 1852 hours, Deputies responded to the 6000 block of State Highway 13 in reference to an attempted suicide. The victim was located, and transported to a hospital by Emergency Services for a mental evaluation.

On 8/05/2023, at approximately 2155 hours, Deputies responded to the 8000 block of NE Davies Road in Hamilton, in reference to Property Damage. The incident was found to be a minor traffic incident.

On 08/08/2023, at approximately 1903 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to Cameron Mo and met with a DeKalb County Deputy to take custody of a male who had an outstanding warrant for their arrest from Caldwell County. The Bond amount was $5000.00 cash. The person was taken into custody and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center where they were held in lieu of bond.

On 08/09/2023, at approximately 0704 hours, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 116 near Royals road, for speeding. As a result of the stop, the driver had an outstanding warrant for their arrest from Clinton County. The female driver was arrested, and taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center where they were held in lieu of bond.

On 08/09/2023, at approximately 1349 hours, Caldwell County Deputies settled a verbal dispute between a male and a female regarding a domestic situation, the incident was handled without an arrest.

On 08/09/2023, Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Walnut St. in Cowgill in reference to a dog bite. The victim received minor injuries and the dog was euthanized by the owner prior to Deputies arrival.

On 08/09/2023, at approximately 1800 hours, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 100 block of N. Shouse St., Braymer, in reference to stealing.

On 08/09/2023, Caldwell County Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Hwy 13 near Templeton Dr. in Polo. As a result of the stop, the driver of the motorcycle was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Methamphetamine. They were transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center where they were held pending filing of formal charges.

On 8/10/2023, Caldwell County Deputies were sent to the 400 block of Elm St., Cowgill, in reference to Property Damage. It was discovered when the deputies arrived, a juvenile was throwing rocks at a vehicle and had broken a window. This incident is being referred to the Juvenile Office.

On 08/12/2023, at approximately 1315 hours, Deputies responded to the 8000 block of S. Highway 13 in regards to a possible burglary. This incident is under investigation.

On 08/14/2023, at approximately 0137 hours, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 500 block of Elm St., Kidder, in reference to a domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation, charges are pending on two suspects.

On 08/14/2023, at approximately 1703 hours, Deputies began an investigation regarding harassment. As a result of the investigation, an arrest is pending based on charges.

On 8/14/2023, at approximately 2211 hours, Deputies received a report and assisted in an investigation regarding a child custody issue.

On 08/16/2023, at approximately 1050 hours, Deputies received a report regarding stealing of some scrap metal from a property. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a white in color F-150 with peeling paint, there was a white male driver. Suspect and vehicle are being sought for questioning.

On 08/17/2023, Caldwell County Deputies received a report of trespassing on a property.

On 08/17/2023, at approximately 0950 hours, Deputies responded to the Caldwell County Courthouse in regards to a warrant arrest. A female was taken into custody according to a warrant for her arrest for failing to obey a Judge’s Order. She was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center, where she was held in lieu of bond.

On 08/19/2023, at approximately 1520 hours, Deputies were sent to the 3000 block of State Hwy T near Polo, to a structure fire. The building was a total loss and there were no injuries.

On 8/20/2023, at approximately 1939 hours, Deputies responded to an address in reference to a suicidal subject. As deputies arrived, they found a male subject in a pond saying he was going to drown himself; Deputies were able to communicate with the male and convinced him to come to dry ground. He was taken to a facility for a mental evaluation.

On 8/21/2023, at approximately 0241 hours, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 100 block of E. Broadway St in Kingston, in reference to a vehicle fire. After further investigation, it was determined the fire was an accident.

On 08/21/2023, at approximately 1515 hours, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 231 W. Elm Street, Breckenridge, in reference to a well-being check. After further investigation, it was found the subject checked on was accounted for.

On 08/21/2023, at approximately 2245 hours, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Dove Dr. Polo, in reference to a domestic disturbance. After further investigation, it was determined there was a domestic assault. A male was taken into custody, and placed into the Caldwell County Detention Center pending filing of formal charges.

On 08/22/2023, at approximately 0600 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Dove Dr., Polo Mo, in regards to a possible stolen vehicle.

On 08/22/2023, Caldwell County Deputies took a report of property damage to a vehicle in Breckenridge Mo. A report was taken and a suspect has been identified.

On 08/23/2023, at approximately 1959 hours, a male surrendered himself into custody at the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department. He was taken into custody without incident, and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center where he posted bond.

On 08/27/2023, Caldwell County Deputies responded to a well-being check at an address on 6th Street, Braymer. The parties checked on were found in good health.

On 08/26/2023, at approximately 0910 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 7000 block of Ne Henry O Rd., Hamilton, in regards to trespassing. As Deputies arrived, a female was taken into custody, and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On 08/27/2023, Caldwell County Deputies received a report regarding phone harassment in Breckenridge, Mo. This was a result of a domestic situation, and the suspect has charges pending.

On 08/28/2023, at approximately 0627 hours, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of Fawn Park Rd., Polo, in reference to a missing juvenile. The Juvenile was located and was unharmed.

On 08/29/2023, at approximately 1943 hours, Caldwell County Deputies received a call in reference to stolen license plates and property damage at an address in Breckenridge.

On 08/30/2023, at approximately 0201 hours, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 700 block of Camino Dr., Polo, in reference to an assault. The suspect had fled the scene prior to arrival, but their identity is known and they are being sought for arrest.
