Bill 2634 Clears State Senate

Despite almost half a day of filibustering by Missouri Democrats, House Bill 2634 passed in the state senate.

The Bill, sponsored by Republican Representative Cody Smith, would make Planned Parenthood ineligible to receive reimbursements from Missouri’s Medicaid program.

Next, Bill 2634 heads back to the House, then to the desk of Governor Mike Parson, who can sign it into law.
