Cameron Open Burning & Recycling Pick-Up Starting Up Monday

The City of Cameron will open up a bit more next Monday.

Mayor Darlene Breckenridge says curbside recycling pick-up and an open burning extension are set to start up again on Monday, May 18.

The City says yard waste pickup is unavailable for the foreseeable future.

The open burning season will extend to Sunday, May 31.

A burn permit will be required after that date.

Citizens are asked to notify the police department of their burning plans at 816-632-6521.
