Chillcothe Police Activity for 9/6/21
Monday, September 6th, 2021
12:04 AM Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 1200 block of Calhoun Street. Vehicle moved prior to officer arrival.
01:39 AM Officers responded to Danner Park for suspicious activity. Subjects were located and advised of park hours.
07:59 AM Officers located vagrants in the alley ways of the business district. Individuals were asked to move along and left the area.
1:27 PM Officers responded to an animal complaint involving a rattlesnake in the 1900 block of Clay Street. The animal was deceased upon officer arrival and removed from the area.
02:31 PM Officers responded to a business in the 1300 block of Washington Street to recover a lost purse. It was returned to its owner.
02:33 PM Officers took a report of stolen bank cards from the 600 block of Chicago Street. Investigation is underway.
6: 18 PM, Officers responded to the intersection of Clay and Walnut for a two vehicle crash without injury. Minor damage was reported and no citations issued.
7:19 PM Officers contacted a possibly intoxicated male near the intersection of Ryan Ln and Washington Street. Subject appeared to be intoxicated and complained of injury. He was transported by Chillicothe EMS to Hedrick Medical Center.
8:00 PM Officers responded to Fair Street near the Bryan Street intersection for a traffic hazard. Large amounts of glass were cleared from the roadway.
10:47 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop near the Broadway and Polk intersection which resulted in the arrest of one adult female for driving while suspended. She was cited and released pending court appearance.
Officers also conducted traffic stops, business checks, paper service, and followed up with numerous investigations.
The Chillicothe Police Department received 73 calls for service on Monday September 6th, 2021.
