Chillicothe Man Injured in Carroll County Crash Thursday

A Chillicothe man suffered injuries in a Carroll County crash Thursday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred around 6:09 Thursday morning on U.S. 65, south of Route M, as 31-year-old Tyler M. Gibson drove southbound.

Troopers say Gibson changed lanes into oncoming traffic and struck a northbound vehicle.

Gibson’s vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.

Gibson suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at North Kansas City Hospital.

Authorities say it is unknown if Gibson wore a seat belt at the time of the crash.
