Chillicothe Police Activity for 8/16/21

2:15 AM, Officers responded to a business intrusion alarm at a business in the 2600 block of North Washington. Officer advised business was secure and alarm activation was a malfunction.

7:58 AM, Officers responded to the 400 block of Webster to a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers advised incident was verbal in nature and no arrest were made.

10:08 AM, Officers conducted a wellbeing check of a resident in the 300 block of Webster Street. Resident was found to be ok.

11:02 AM, Officer received a report of property damage at Schaffer Park.

11:30 AM, Officer conducted funeral escort for local funeral home.

12:29 PM, Officer conducted wellbeing check of subject at Locust and Calhoun. Subject was ok.

1:34 PM, Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Polk street. Officers advised incident was verbal in nature and no arrests were made.

4:38 PM, Officer received animal complaint in the 2700 block of North Washington Street. Owner was contacted and issue was resolved.

5:20 PM, Officers responded to a property dispute in the 400 block of Collier Street. Property owners were advised of their rights.

5:28 PM, Officers received a report of a vehicle being driven in a careless manner in the 800 block of hickory. Officer was unable to locate vehicle.

5:52 PM, Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Vine Street. A male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct. The subject was processed at the police department, cited, and released.

6:22 PM, Officer received animal complaint in the 400 block of Wise Street. Owner of animal contacted and advised of the complaint.

8:07 PM, Officer received a report of theft in the 100 block of Henry Street. Investigation Continues.

10:23 PM, Officers responded to a business intrusion alarm at a business in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Officers advised employees of the business accidentally activated alarm.

11:17 PM, Officers responded to Hedrick Medical Center for an out-of-control individual. The individual was later taken into custody and turned over to Linn County Children’s Division.

Officers responded to 115 calls for service on Monday, August 16th, 2021.
