Dawn Man Injured in Ray County Crash Thursday

A Dawn man was injured in a Ray County crash Thursday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on B Highway, south of K Highway, when a vehicle driven by 48-year-old James W. Alkire was heading northbound.

Troopers say another northbound vehicle stopped in the roadway and was struck from behind by Alkire.

Alkire was treated on the scene for minor injuries.

Troopers say neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
