Eagleville Man Charged With Endangering the Welfare of a Child

HARRISON COUNTY, MO – An Eagleville man has been charged in Harrison County with endangering the welfare of a child.

Andrew Harrell was interviewed by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department last summer regarding the death of a 2-year-old child on July 31, 2022. In a probable cause affidavit, Sheriff Trevor Place alleges Harrell admitted that he locked the young child in a closet, strapped her in a car seat, and put her behind a sliding door to silence her.

Harrell was scheduled to appear in court yesterday for an initial appearance.

Harrell’s significant other, Heather Young, is charged with child abuse resulting in the death of the 2-year-old.
