Excelsior Springs Man Injured And Facing Charges After Early Morning Wreck
An Excelsior Springs man is suffering not only minor injuries but a trio of traffic charges following a single vehicle accident early this (Thursday) morning in Clay County.
Troop A of the Highway Patrol says 25-year-old Excelsior Springs resident Bodazapha L. Loveall was driving a 2014 Jeep Compass on U.S. 69 Highway north of Nebo Hills Road at 4:50 A.M. when his vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.
Following the impact the Jeep overturned and went off the right side of the roadway where it came to rest.
Loveall was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time but suffered minor injuries. He was transported by Liberty Fire to Liberty Hospital for treatment of those injuries.
At 5:55 A.M. Troop A reports arrested Loveall on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, and failing to maintain a single lane. He was booked into the Clay County Jail before being released.
