Excelsior Springs Man Injured in Crash on I-35 Ramp Monday

An Excelsior Springs man suffered injuries in a Clay County crash Monday evening around 6:15 p.m.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-35’s northbound ramp to U.S. 69 as a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Anthony L. Guzman continued north.
Troopers say Guzman overtook and struck the rear of a stopped northbound vehicle driven by 24-year-old Kearney resident Luke M. Poage.
Guzman suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Liberty Hospital.
Authorities listed no injuries for Poage.
Troopers say all involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
