Fire Alert Made At Bethany Hy-Vee

Fire officials and other law enforcement are on the scene of a fire call at Bethany Hy-Vee.  Smoke was observed on the lettered signage on top of the store front.  There were multiple calls for mutual ad initially.  One department has been alerted to disregard.

12:40pm No active fire fighting at this point, but it appears observation and investigation is continuing.

1:10pm Emergency officials leave area.  Hy-Vee continues with operations.

Incident appeared to be confined to the signage.
