Flooding Closes U.S. 59 in Buchanan County

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced this morning (Tuesday) that Buchanan County U.S. Route 59 has closed from Route 45 at Rushville to Atchison, Kansas due to flooding.
Motorists may utilize U.S. Route 36 into Kansas as an alternate route.
Mo-Dot suggests travelers use their website, or their smart phone app, to keep up to date on the latest flooded road closings.
