Gallatin & Kansas City Drivers Collide in Morning I-35 Accident

A Kansas City man suffered injuries in a Clay County crash early this morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred around 6:35 this morning on I-35, as a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Gallatin resident Jonathan M. Arnold drove northbound.

Troopers say Arnold’s vehicle began to fishtail, crossed traffic, and collided with another northbound vehicle driven by 45-year-old Kansas City, Missouri resident Russell Reed Jr.

Reed Jr. suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at North Kansas City Hospital.

Authorities listed no injuries for Arnold.

Reports say both men wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
