Gallatin Man Injured in Clay County Crash Monday

A Gallatin man suffered injuries in a Clay County crash Monday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 4:11 Monday afternoon on I-35, just south of mile marker 15, as 54-year-old Shawn E. Teel drove northbound.
Troopers say Teel failed to slow down for traffic and struck a northbound Freightliner.
Teel suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Liberty Hospital.
Authorities say Teel did not wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
