Garland Nelson in Court Tomorrow on Felony Stealing Charge

A Kingston man charged in the killings of two Wisconsin brothers will appear in court Friday on an unrelated felony.

Court documents say Garland Joseph Nelson faces a felony charge of stealing a motor vehicle, watercraft, or aircraft.

Records list that charge from September 16, 2020.

Authorities accuse Nelson of coercing a fellow inmate to steal a semi-tractor while detained on the previous murder charges.

Nelson will appear in Caldwell County Court Friday afternoon at 1:00 for a preliminary hearing.
