Governor Parson Announces Weight Waiver For Heating Fuel Hauling

Governor Mike Parson has announced an allowance for heavier-than-normal truckloads of heating fuel on Missouri highways.

The Missouri Department of Transportation says this waiver allows private and for-hire motor carriers to haul up to 10 percent more than a commercial motor vehicle’s licensed weight on Show-Me State highways.

Governor Parson says was done in relief of current supply issues in the central United States.

The waiver remains in effect through December 20.
