Governor Thanks Mendon Community for Showing Up to Help After Deadly Train Derailment

(MISSOURINET) –  Governor Mike Parson made a stop in northern Missouri Thursday to thank first responders and the community for coming together after a deadly train derailment earlier this year. Four people died and more than 150 people were injured after the train crashed into a dump truck at an intersection in June.

The train was traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago.
