Hamilton Driver Seriously Injured In Accident With Tractor Trailer On Highway 36

A Hamilton driver was seriously injured following accident with a tractor-trailer on Highway 36 Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 84 year old Frederick Ferola of Hamilton failed to stop at a posted stop sign on Business Highway 36 while driving southbound. His vehicle hit the side of a unit being towed by a tractor trailer.

Ferola was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center after the accident. The tractor-trailer’s driver was not injured, but the vehicle did receive extensive damage. The tractor-trailer’s driver was from Henderson, Nevada.

The accident took place at 8:40 Wednesday morning.
