Hamilton Keno Player Hits Big Prize
A person playing the Missouri Lottery’s Club Keno game in Hamilton hit a major prize recently.
The player was watching the drawing at the Quick Shop, located at 1003 south Hughes in Hamilton, when she realized her 7-Spot ticket had hit seven of the 10 numbers drawn, and the Bulls-Eye number, giving her a prize of $63,909.
Club Keno is a fast-paced draw game with 20 numbers drawn every four minutes, in which players choose how many numbers or “spots” they want to play. The game is available at social environment locations like restaurants, bars and fraternal organizations, and it can also be played at convenience stores, grocery stores and similar Missouri Lottery retail locations.
In the last fiscal year, players who purchased tickets in Caldwell County won more than $1.1 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Lottery retailers in the county received more than $113,000 in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $187,000 in appropriated Lottery proceeds, including more than $74,000 for programs in the Hamilton R-II School District.
